3 Years of Sly Commerce
Today, we celebrate three years of Sly Ecommerce Development & Consulting. In the recent years we achieved great results amongst numerous projects and customers. Sly started it's journey with three employees, working part-time for big Swiss B2B eCommerce companies. The company grew over time to seven internal employees, some freelancers and a vast nearshore development partner network.

The Largest Swiss Retailer
After the initial analysis of the search function, the technical and functional requirements for the immediate replacement but also future needs has been determined. The existing processes for implementation, data maintenance and structuring of content used for search preparation were analysed in detail and all defined functional and non-functional requirements have been checked and evaluated in a detailed evaluation scheme to ensure that they meet the objectives and usage values. During the evaluation, various commercial as well as open source solutions are considered and examined for their suitability, costs and, above all, their sustainability. As a result of the preliminary study, solution variants with the top three candidates from the evaluation as well as the target architecture were presented to the client as a basis for decision-making. Sly GmbH will continue to provide consulting services during the implementation and continuous optimisation of the new search engine.
Sly GmbH guarantees stability, performance and maintainability of the existing platform, supports the establishment of an international development team consisting of internal and external developers, guarantees high reaction times and a continuous know-how transfer. Thus Sly GmbH guarantees a smooth operation of the online shop throughout Europe as well as a smooth transition phase upon the consolidation of the locations. New features are tested and implemented cost-efficiently.

As we grow, we insert ourselves also into the medium sized company market segment and have just started this new project. We are happy to announce GGT Gleittechnik AG as our newest customer. We help evaluate and integrate a new headless e-commerce implementation, a new PIM system and Website, as part of the ongoing rebranding strategy. This helps expanding their digital commerce capabilities in order to stay top of market.
